Celebrating the Summer Solstice with outdoor yoga at Sefton Park Cricket Club

Big thanks to everyone who made it along to Sefton Park Cricket Club on Saturday morning for pop up outdoor yoga to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

What a treat it was to begin the longest day with our feet on the grass, birdsong in our ears and the sun on our faces 🤗.

All proceeds from the class - over £100! - were donated to SPCC, which is a volunteer-led club that serves the local community.

A special mention goes to the players and club staff who joined us even though they’d been up bright and early for the annual Solstice match which had started at sunrise (4.43am! 🥱) - you can see photos from that over on the Echo’s website.

As one of the group said afterwards: ‘I really enjoyed today, it was the perfect combo of yoga/sun/nature’ 💚
