Liverpool loves Menopause Yoga
Yesterday I was invited to not one but TWO menopause events right here in Liverpool.
The last time I attended a similar event in this city it was in a library and I’m pretty sure there were PowerPoint slides 😴. I remember coming away with more questions than answers and a hint of apprehension at what might lie ahead 😔.
But that was at least two years ago now (or possibly longer) and much has changed since then.
I left both of yesterday’s events feeling educated and empowered, and excited that as women we’re building these supportive communities for each other and for the women who will follow 🙌🏻.
So sending a BIG thank you here to the organisers of both events for - to borrow words from MenopauseMandate - ‘dragging menopause out of the shadows and into the spotlight’.
